I'm surprised my forks have got this pitting on them, is this normal on a GS Adventure at 7 months/10,000 miles?

I had a set of fork legs replaced under warranty for just that problem. I've solved it in future by fitting carbon fibre fork shields from Racespec - designed to protect MX forks. They look great & fit a treat with a bit of neoprene behind them.

Can't remember when my fork legs looked as good as yours, Bawdy...

I think a mention at the next service will do for now.
At 62K miles, on a RTW, they're not bad Mike:)

Mine are like that as well, although mine's a V-regd 2000 model plus theres a load of paint chipped and flaking off the bottom yoke too. Looks shite and needs brushing and painting.
