Part no PP-01MK2 fits HP2 05-09.

After a trip to Balderston BMW for other stuff they quoted £156 +vat.:(

So a bit of a look round on the net came up with www.dirtbikebitz.com

£91 plus vat £105 and free post:D

Good find..

Do pivot pegz lower the footrest position as well as tilt etc?

They can do, spacer can be installed above or below peg so 5mm difference either way.

Great bit of kit and I paid just over £100 delivered from Metal Mule.

It took 15 mins both sides:D

Circlip needs to be removed from the bottom of the holding pin.

Then extract with fingers or a pair of pliers’, well you can if you grease the pins after you ride/wash, If not I guess that will be a brass drift and hammer then:blast

Copper Slip the pin, insert and replace the circlip (top tip use a new circlip every time):thumb
The Pivot Pegz come with a Elastic band round the spring LEAVE THAT ON WHEN FITTING AS IT HOLDS THE SPRING IN PLACE, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TOO:rob

Up the road and back and it's feeling good:thumb but time will tell.
Seems to be good quality, maintenance has gone up Because the pivot will need a grease:eek: and it's possibly twice the weight of OME peg

As for the height its much the same as stock, I'm 6'4" and my problem is Bar position not feet which give me issue's. So ROX RISERS and ditch the aftermarket risers

Thanks for the pics BamBam, I have been after a set for a while now but tight finances does not allow for the bling at the moment. Racespec also do them for £109 and have their 10% discount now and again which drops it under the £100 mark. So seems like the priced fairly evenly across the board except.....:augie :D

Would like to know your expierences with these pegs after a while whether you rate it or not.

THE TRUTH PIVIOT PEGZ ROAD TESTED

Here you go,
THEY MAKE NO DIFFERANCE WHAT SO EVER :hide WHEN SITTING DOWN, A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY:blagblah:augie

:jes

BUT:D
when stood up on the 'PEGZ' and you have re-adjusted your Brake lever and Gear lever to suit your now mobile feet a worth while purchase:thumb2

RE: Pivot pegs

Had mine about a year, love them. Only takes about 15 min to install.

As for the height its much the same as stock said:
I have fitted a set of SW 'Rox type' adjustable risers. I am a similar height and they work great and look better (more OEM and less bling) than the Rox IMHO.

You guys are too tall - 5'9" works just right for the HP2 ;)

I used pivot pegs on enduro bikes and HP2's for 2 years, after riding a freinds bike without them i threw them out. They are a great novelty when you first fit them and feel good however any technical riding and i find they actualy throw you off balance the calf muscles have to adjust for the movement and they get tired easier.
Sorry to pee on the fire you may enjoy them. :pullface

I've had mine on my 1150 for a couple of years. I love them. Standing up they are supportive and give a consistent platform, sitting down they make it easy to get motocross boots under the gear lever :thumb2

I have some similar ones from Power Pegs (who have now gone bust) on my 1100 and they are a great thing.

I did 2500 miles off road on the Trans America Trail and the Dalton Highway in Alaska and though they really helped me when I was standing on the pegs and especially at speed.

As Mutley said, they give you a stable platform:thumb
