Pivot Pegz, anyone else use them?
I've just fitted a pair to my R1200GS LC not for off roading but with a hope of trying to get more movement when changing gear, I don't have the same movement in my left ankle (polio as a kid). I hardly use the gear assist because it's too much like hard work for me.
But I can't seem to get on with them. The gear lever is either too low so my boot gets stuck under it or too high so I'm lifting my foot instead of twisting it. Maybe it's just a case of fine adjustment.
Also I now find the brake pedal too low, I'm having to press my foot downwards more to apply the brakes.
Ho hum maybe now I need adjustable levers to go with them ;) any excuse.

I have them on my LC. I have size 13 feet and had some difficulty with the space available between the peg and the shifter. I then fitted an SWMotech adjustable gear shift, problem sorted. Adjusted the brake pedal as well. They work very well and rotate a bit as your feet move. I havent really tried standing up but obviously there will be no lateral support from your feet, so knees in and hold the tank. BTW I would have thought that the GSAP would be of real asistance with your limited ankle movement. After persisting with it I find it a real improvement in riding fun and riding stress. After 8hrs on it not having to deal with the clutch just makes it that bit easier. Sounds a bit 'light' I know but thats how it's working for me.

The problem I have with my ankle is not being able to lift it as high as my right ankle, I find that not using the clutch offers more resistance & I tend to have to lift my foot off the pegs instead of being able to just rotate it.
I'm looking at SW Motech, Wunderlich & the Gilles levers from Calsport.
