Should this just come orft after the 4 screws? I twisted and turned it but the damn thing wouldnt come out!!

That implies you can move it I presume. If you've got an 1150GSA with engine bars - you have to remove the crossbar section to get the plastic flap free

Its a std GS it seems to foul on the top shock, the bottom comes out the way its the top end!!
