Thanks for the suggestion - we went along yesterday and had a great time. Lots of wonderful military vehicles (including a truck with BIG wheels), plenty of interesting cars, not much in the way of bikes and some excellent flying. Highlights included the Red Arrows (as usual) a new aerobatic team formed from ex-Red Arrows, unbelievable stuff from a Chinook, glider aerobatics and best of all, a B-25 Mitchell.

Lovely setting, fantastic weather and lots of interesting kit. Great day, so thank you Big Twin.

Pleasure - it's a great day isn't it. Shame I missed the Chinock whilst in the 2.5 hr traffic fick-up on the A281...ho hum.

They are at Duxford and Shoreham in a few days (see here).

To see a forty foot container nose down in the vertical is quite something. Made the Navy Lynx pair look like toys...

Hope the RAF has a good supply of underpants...

Having seen the Chinook display and being a helicopter pilot I have the utmost respect for the pilot.
