You know the panel you pull off to get at the nut that holds the rear of the tank.....good. Well I got my bike back from a 12000 mile service a couple of weeks ago and where the front of the tank meets the beak, it should slip into the rubber between the two, well it hadn't. So, I pulled off the panel to start to rectify the problem and one of the lugs snapped. What price does anyone know and I take it they would be still available. Thanks, Ricky. :(

Tuned, you're either after something or you got your crash guard ... if it's the first, ring me mobile as I'm off until Monday :)

Ricky.. happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and being tight I stuck a small screw through from the back and screwed the lug back on.. been fine since, and its been off and on 2 or 3 times, you just need to give the end of the lug an shove with a screwdriver to put less strain on it...

Happened to me too, my fault as I tried to take it off when it was a cold morning. The plastic is brittle and the front lug/prong snapped right at the base. I superglued it and its been ok ever since. Now when I take it off I make sure its warm (It makes the plastic quite supple), either been standing in the sun or the engine is still radiating heat up to it.
