Hi guys, the Bertha saga continues!!
Fitted the rear shock after it had a new bottom bush and there is play at the bevel box to swing arm connection.
Now, I know that last year the bearings were replaced at the Gentlemens weekend, so I am struggling to understand the problem.
Any ideas??
The play shows itself when you bounce the back wheel on the floor (whilst the bike is on its stand). It is easy to see, so I'm guessing it sholdn't be there. The bike has done very few miles since the Weekend (maybe 150-200) so I'm sure the bearings are still good.
Had new pins fitted too, so I'm sure it's not that either.
I've tried to tighten up the outside pin to remove the play (by hand as I know this is only supposed to be 7ft/lb) but I haven't checked the inside one.
