play in back wheel wen in 1 gear approx 15 deg wen rocking

hi just spent the day cleaning the // gs r1150 .2000 and putting new pads all round wen i was doing the back break it was in 1 gear and i could move the back wheel about 15 deg wen rocking the wheel is this right or do i have a big problem any good advice or is that the way thay are

When you say rocking do you mean from side to side or rotating it?, quite normal for rotating just back lash in gears.
