Play in the rear shock pivot?

Hi All,

just want to pick the collective brains of the wise and good again,

I have just finished doing the 18K service and was going through all the pivots and bearings when i noticed about 1-2mm of play in the bottom pivot of the the rear shock, the easist way I can describe it is bike on centre stand and then rock it so that the back tyre is just touching the deck, I can then feel the play between the clevis on the shock and the swingarm. Is this gonna be normal or do I feel another visit to the dealers coming on?

Sounds like the normal MBW build quality which gives their dealer network lots of (your) money.
If it's still under warranty try that route.
