Please cast an eye ....

Looks pretty good apart from the blue.

The full stop at the end of a sentence should come immediately after the last word - there shouldn't be a space before it. Same applies to commas, no space before them, just after.

It's "delicate", not "delecate"...
"indelible", etc.
Capitals after the first word in a sentence only for proper names (e.g., "tags", "indelible"...).
Capitalise the first word in a sentence "We will get it clean...".
Apostrophe not normally present in "email".

Probably other stuff I've missed. Loads of it if you include the reviews, but I presume you've quoted them verbatim so I suppose I'm not allowed to mention them. :D

Best of luck with it.

Very thorough my man, thank you very much. I shall endeavour to correct said mistakes tomorrow in the Am. The reviews are all cut and paste jobs from Emails recieved or from customer reviews on Yell.com . :thumb2:thumb2 :beerjug::beerjug:

Is the blue really that bad ??
would white background with Royal blue writing work ??

What colour scheme would you use ??

thanks in advance

ok, If anybody who knows what they are doing would like to change the web pages to white with blue writing but leave the page header the same Theres a drink in it for you because it's well beyond me . :blast

some of the pictures in the gallery are too big although you seem to be still working on it as the gallery was different 10 mins ago. Keep pictures to 1280 or bellow possibly even 1024. There are still a lot of small screens out there and people don't like scrolling around a picture. If your going to do a gallery like that you should have a next picture button as well so you don't have to keep going back to the thumb nails.

As I can't afford a beer here, I'll have a crack at doing the deed.

I'm not a geek when it comes to web building so but I'm sure one of the crowd will be along shortly to help you out if I fail in my quest.:thumb

If you want to know your web stat's try using statcounter.com they're free and if you follow the instructions they provide it's not too difficult to install.

5 min's later, fail.

I can change the loose text and background but all the links are set as images, so that beer will have to go to someone else.

Image size for web 640 x 480 @72 px will be fine. Just to be picky the header and some of the frame work jumps around a bit from page to page, always good to have a smooth transition for the eye.

Yes, that blue really IS that bad........just tone it down a bit......go paler and softer.....more pastel than poke in the eye :thumb2
(as a quick contrast, open up Den's website then flick to yours......his is blue still, although a lot darker.....but regardless of the shade, yours is a really harsh colour that glares at you rather than soothes rather than assaults you, IYSWIM)

Also, and seriously, do this before you go too much further or you'll have big problems converting it all.....

You have a set width, from the absolute left.....

It needs centering, and making as a % rather than a width in whatever units (pixels?) that you've been prompted to use :thumb2

As an example....."Image size for web 640 x 480 @72 px will be fine".....er no, it won't if I have an 800x600 oldy screen, or a 3360 wide split screen as I use for design.

Percentages are far far better in most cases....50% of a screen is half it's width regardless of how wide it is........just be careful to maintain compatibility with tablet forms if you need to

EDIT.....

DO NOT use a counter :rob

Not that's on view anyway, not until you have a huge traffic flow on the site.

We all wish you the best, but seriously, to start off with, you will have a dozen/two dozen people from here look at the site, then your mates who <strike>play pool with you </strike> are in the fire brigade with you, your dog and your postman........them your site counter will stop, at 47......in a month's time, it will still read 47.......
Anyone who finds the site will see what to them is a relatively pathetic number, and go elsewhere........

Harsh but true.

Keep a counter on by all means, and there are dozens or hundreds of freeware ones or you can use Google analytics for free too, but don't let on to the public how many people are visiting your site until you yourself are proud of that number :thumb2

Also........at the same time as this is all going on, you seriously need to get on to the various social networking sites. Yell.com are good and worthwhile and it's great that you're already there....but twatbook at the very least should be added, and you need a twatbook page for the company as well as your own if you have one.

Make sure you have a like button on your site, and that you can cross post from twatbook to the site.......and ffs make sure you understand SEO, but do not pay for it :rob
