Please help a GPS noobie!

Hi there, I have a garmin 276c and I wanted to get the world maps on there. I heard that wanderlust maps were great so I went and downloaded them but I have not been able to upload them to the GPS. Can anyone help?

Sam, do you have Wanderlust installed on the PC?

Do you have a Garmin data card in the 276c to take the maps?

Yes and yes, I have tried mapsource & img2gps but it just won't recognise the files that came with wanderlust. It seems all the files that I downloaded in wanderlust are img files which are just not recognised. Am I missing something here?

Is the Wanderlust map visible in Mapsource??

Check the drop down menu were now it says "City Navigator xx (version) ".

If so select wanderlust first. Then select the maps with the mapbutton. Then upload these maps to the 276
