Just got a FPC bypass cable and 'typically' didnt check the Burns site thoroughly enough to note that I cant use the built in accessory socket cause its only 5 amp.:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast:blast

So - now need to snip the accessory plug and attach a socket that can plug into my permenant Optimate socket!

Any idea where I could locate one of those? I'm in Spain at the mo so need one sent out pretty urgently!

Appreciate feedback.

Might it be easier to just buy a fused lead, and attach that to the fpc bypass lead?

Fuse in = works, fuse out = not

I''ll need to go hunting for that John (easier said than done where I am currently) - simpler if I can get a plug (perhaps wired) sent out!

As the Maplin link shows, you want a Tamiya connector. They are widely used on remote controlled models.

Despite no speaky de lingo, I found Ebay.es returns some batteries with Tamiya connectors with pictures of model cars. So, you need to source a Spanish RC model shop...
