Point me to a guide for installing Remus Headers on 08 GSA?

Hi all,

I have a nice shiny new set of Remus headers sitting next to me at work and a long weekend coming up to fit them.

I'm not the most mechanically competent person (give me a computer any day!) but am going to install these myself to an 08 GSA with 2500 miles on it.

1) Should I bother replacing the exhaust gaskets at this mileage?
2) I found a nice step by step guide with pictures for installing these last week and I'm buggered if I can find it now. Can anyone help (not sure it was even on this site!)
3) Should I expect difficulty getting the Lamda sensors off and if so, what's the trick?

I`ll think you`ll find the fitting instructions I sent you for the Keihan will do the job

The facetious among us would reply -
"Unscrew old headers"
"Attach new headers"

Others might say-
It's a pretty straightforward job with only a few tools needed.
I think you'd get a way with re-using the gaskets, but being someone who wanted a "guaranteed right-first-time job", I did fit new ones. The hassle in re-doing the job twice didn't bear thinking about. With your low miles, the sensors should come out OK too. I did re-use the washers on them. Just handle the leads carefully and ensure they reach wherever the new mounting bosses are. Should be OK on a quality header. Just allow a few hours and a few cups of tea. Enjoy the result.

Some tips - leave all bolts finder tight until everything is lined up... then tighten headers, clamp etc. Do not need new gaskets IMHO. Use some silicone exhaust gasket sealer at the push joint between Y-pipe and endcan (one with clamp) - if you do not get a good seal will want to pop more readily. Really should not take more than an hour and will hep to get a mate for that extra pair of hands .. or to hold the beer
