I've been looking into using TomTom Navigator Mobile in preference to my Garmin Quest.
One very useful feature that TomTom have is the Points of Interest databases. These are user/community created files containing location information for just about anything. One excellent example is the Speed Camera database.
I've just run into this site which seems to be picking up its data from the Yell.com database. It has a database for everything from Abbatoirs to Zoos, and everything in between. The locations are postcode based which will offer varying levels of accuracy, but should be good enough for normal use.
I dont yet have a TomTom device so cant comment on its usefulness, but it is free so cant hurt.
Cheers,
Mike
