Can you buy replacements by mail order from anywhere.

My Vango hardly moved in the gales on Friday but the Khyam took a beating...

Kyhams address is on the tag on the bag:D

Would that be the bag that was last seen flying at 300 feet somewhere above Treen???

:D

I've seen universal cut-to-fit pole kits Neville.....Camping International in Gillingham do them IIRC.....

Not sure if they could be used on a khyam, but it's possible.

You will also be needing some storm guys, they fit just above the joints on the poles to stop them getting blown inwards in high wind. Kyham sell them but it is easy to make your own.

Kyham found out the hard way a few years ago at the vtwin rally when the back end of hurricane hannah blew through. Saturday night kyham who were still a very new company had tents on display, Sunday morning not many left standing:D

Those people who already had Kyham tents and had put storm guys on had no problem.

Sent an e-mail to [email protected] and ten minutes later recieved the reply below..

You may be pleased to know that we have the parts that will enable us to repair your pole. If you would like to go ahead with this repair please send your pole into the following address:-

Eurotech Leisure Ltd.
Corner of Croxstalls Road
Willenhall Lane
Bloxwich
Walsall
West Midlands
WS3 2XU

There is a small charge for this process. This is £6.50 for each pole repair and a standard charge of £3.50 for p&p. You may send a cheque with your pole when posting or alternatively you can send your pole into us with your name, telephone number, postal address and tent model and we will contact you for payment.

Once payment is received and cleared repairs will begin on your pole. This usually takes 5-10 working days.

Hope this helps if someone else needs pole repairs :)

Had a pole repaired on my large Khyam family tent. Couldn't fault the service. However I personally think that Khyam quality is not a patch on what it was 10 years ago.
