Police Scotland? Won't hear a word against 'em!

Talking of Scotland whats the thing with the A9 average speed camras,why dont they just spend the money on making it all duel carrage way or is this the way its going to be funded

I strongly suspect that one of the main reasons for the cameras north of Perth is to cover the miles of roadworks with some ridiculously slow speed limits while the road is being converted to dual carriageway. Anybody who remembers the years of speed limit through the road works on the A80 between Haggs and Auchenkilns a few years back knows what to expect.

Total waste of funds IMO, I wish I could do an average speed from Dunblane to Inverness, not possible with the restricted lorry speeds on the single carriageways. Does need to be upgraded to dual.

The week before this pretty photo and article appeared, one of these tossers jumped out from behind a tree where his hi viz car was hidden to catch me cruising over the nominal limit. First timer warning? No chance. Quiet sunny day cruiser? No chance. Fuck 'em!

I was out for a run today and for some strange reason decided to stay under 65mph
The crafty feckers were parked up a side road enjoying a cup of tea & Classic FM, these guys are obviously well trained as the low Autumn sun was directly down the road so you couldn't tell if the metallic shiney object ahead was - A; an actual cop car, B; a tractor or C; the starship fkn enterprise!
That was on a 1 mile straight section of road with only 2 junctions...keep the stats up guys, helps the bonus

Just put on Polish plates and blend in with the majority, at least you can go flat out.
