Political / regional maps

[Wapping]

Lots of websites refer to places and routes by the regional names or areas. This is great if you know where they are and if you know your Thuringia from your Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

To help me with this, I simply found some free political maps on Google:




I then put the images into a folder on my iPad, making them easy to find.

I'm pretty sure you have those maps inside the Michelin Road atlas for whichever European country. I've got a couple of the big, spiral-bound French ones and they have those inside.
