Poor bugger!!

Richie's just called again...he's having a bit of a mare getting his Honda Dommie home and apparently is broken down in the Fishguard/Carmarthen area.

He says he needs an HT lead and coil.

If anyone can help I'm sure it would be hugely appreciated......he's on +35 3877 420443.

Rather than coming through me and then having a three way exchange of info and the potential Chinese whispers problems, if you can help would you contact him direct and then post an update here so that everyone can see what the state of play is please :)

I'll sticky this now and keep it bounced until we know he's on his way again :)

Cheers all

Bill

EDIT....THIS IS A COPY OF THE THREAD IN THE BUNKER HERE, COPIED TO THE WELSH SECTION IN CASE THAT'S WHERE SOMEONE LOCAL LOOKS FIRST.
PLEASE RESPOND ON THE MAIN THREAD RATHER THAN THIS ONE SO THE INFORMATION IS ALL IN THE SAME PLACE, MANY THANKS.

Not sure if this will help. Slimbo on this forum lives in Swansea and is an AA breakdown man (at the hogroast last year, Bill he is the man that gave you the snorkle for the fording) If you PM him it would be worth a go. Top bloke and all round snappy dresser and he has a new campervan too!!:D Sorry but I haven't got his number but this is the Bike Stooperz number(his baby) so thay might help :nenau 01792 523161

EDIT oops. my speed reading skills are crap. just re-read the first post, at least it looks like all will be sorted, I HOPE!

I feel they may be acquainted :D

Indeed.

Thanks though Allan ;)

(I think I got to know Graham nearly as well as his wife a few years ago :D )

Not heard from Richie for a few hours and he hasn't answered a text I sent a while back, so I presume (hope) he's sorted and riding......I'll leave the two threads stickified until we're sure he's dead from hypothermia or home :blast

Thanks as in other thread, you can unsticky them please.

Thanks to

Big Den (Its a lot of bike for the money)
Fanum (for getting the ball rolling)
Taff (for picking me up, and then with his wife "George" driving me to Fishgaurd, buying me dinner and a pint and then dropping me off at the port.)
Vareo (for getting hold of John Jaws100)
John Jaws 100 (who must of done a 300KM round trip with trailer to drop me off at Fergus's place)
Fergus (for having the part and fixing in no time for 50€)

Home now had a blast driving through west cork in the rain and wind, dommies are really good bikes. The front end would be my only complaint... But hey it don't have a Telelever suspension system...

A really character building trip with amazing help from people who basically I have never met

Ahh Allihes what an amazing place , spent many days in the village last year and the year before, cant wait to get back out there next year again on the bike :)
