Wrapping is the same as painting, you must have a good flat clean non porous surface to start with. I’m no expert with the plastic tanks, only ever come across them on my Mille, but I think if you knocked the high spots back with a series of grit papers, sealed it with a primer then a petrol safe lacquer before wrapping. I plumbed for a Germanic urban cammo as it was so hard wrapping that huge tank in one piece, it can be done though. Going to wrap the beak with some canary yellow too.

Did you track down the issue?

No mate, lost interest, too many other things that required money and attention. Don’t think it’s much, something sill I’m missing completely. May just be my shit gap adjustment!
