Poorly 1150

My 1150 is being poorly, it seems to have developed a misfire.

I'd recently installed the modified cam tensioner, and the problem seems to have happened after this.

I suspected I'd pulled the throttle cable out of the junction box but after some disassembly I cannot really see it sticking out of the box.

Part of the reason I suspected this cable is that I don't seem to have any free play on the left hand housing any more. Loads on the right, none on the left.

Anyone have any suggestions?

throttle cable is fully seated at the Throttle Body end, if that is not fully seated you get a mismatch in throttle positions....

Year 2000, single spark, 51000 miles.

I've checked the seating of the cables as well as I can and all seem OK.

As I said the left cable adjuster is at its lowest setting and still there doesn't seem to be any play.

Choke does'nt seem to have any, or minimal, effect.

Recently had new filters and fluids throughout.

Bike seems to tickover fine and according to the my CarbTune it's balanced but if you blip the throttle it works ok then as it settles it stumbles and struggles to go back to tickover.

Was working fine. I've tried unplugging the injector cables, TPS cable etc to check for moisture etc

As an aside ... Jeese the throttle cable junction box is in a pigs place to work on!
