Popping out of first under mid-heavy deceleration

Anyone else experienced it? I use a kliktronic shifter, as my leg doesn't work too well. but its adjusted correctly and I've also had it happen down changing by foot. It sometimes jumps out of gear into neutral and a couple of times into 2nd??? Only when going for it and using hard engine deceleration. Is it a my electric gear shifter or is there any other experience of this?

Oh, its a 2015 GS TE with about 6500 miles on...

I had it twice since June 2015...It can be tricky if you depend a bit on the engine brake, and the thing goes to neutral instead of 1st gear.
I blamed it on being not clear or decisive enough with the gear lever...
My bike needs to undergo the gear assist update...so, let's see if it will help.

My 2015 TE (non quick shifter) has never done this.
