SMH10R - Tried to edit title but can't !!

Inspired by previous posts I am trying to find a suitable bluetooth fm or dab radio that I can transmit to my send headset. It would ideally be small enough to slot into my bar bag and possibly be able to charge it on the bike ?

Another forum mentioned using an app on my phone but can't quite see how that would work ?

TIA.

Something like TuneIn Radio app? Streams digital radio over cell network and plays over BT...

Sooooo without sounding like an idiot, once my headset is powered up and bluetooth connections are made do I just then start the radio app and it should start playing via the headset ?

I currently have the phone connected to my Nav 5, can it also be connected to my headset simultaneously ?

Am interested in this myself but like the OP, without wishing to sound like a tube, won't doing this effectively use you data allowance and if you go abroad, wouldn't you end up with the world's biggest mobile bill for streaming data?

Yes. I'm on unlimited and get free data roaming too, so not so much of an issue. I used to listen to the radio mainly on commutes, but things have changed.
If you haven't got a good data plan and want to listen to it a lot then forget it.
Tesco used to do a good little DAB radio that got good reviews and was only £18, but it hasn't been available for many months:

Used with a cheap BT transmitter...

I have the app on my I phone

And it works exactly as stated.
However, I have a Caberg Sintesi helmet with built in bluetooth in it, and this has an FM radio as standard, which I use in UK.
