I bought the "Gear 4 Street Party Size 0"

From these fellas: http://shop.ipodworld.co.uk/iPodWor...9/Gear4_StreetParty_Size_0_Speaker_System.htm

I bought them for a 6 day tour on the bike which I finished last week. Also for tunes in the garage when working on the bike, kitchen etc.

The speakers worked a treat, pack thin and come in a protective neoprene sleeve. The feel pretty robust for what they are. The remote that comes with it is "ok" but it was more of a bonus point for me.

There are smaller solutiuons but I wanted something that put out decent sound and this fit the bill for me. :thumb2

I use the Logitech version of these,

But I see the Logitech version is now £54 !!! (When I bought mine they were about £20).

Fold flat for packing.

Good enough sound and excellent battery life.

Thanks both for info;

Someone on the site posted about these speakers from Iqua, a week or so, ago. I couldn't get any from Tesco, but got some from eBay for £1.04 (£3.75 incl delivery) & they have proved to be very good indeed. Excellent base for such small speakers & they take 3 AAA batteries, come with a phono lead plus adapters for Nokia & Sony mobile phones...

Just found some more for sale, here, but slightly more expensive at £5.49 plus £3.49 delivery
