My guess would be Stumpy (ex RAF) or Northern Jock (ex-poor person) being able to help

Anti Aircraft defences in WW2?

The white diagonals form a saltire but also possibly crossed searchlights. Maybe some kind of divisional badge?

Found this using Anti Aircraft Scotland as a search term and it seems quite similar.

On the other hand Gordon could be spot on! I'd go with that.
