The Positive Lead fractured on my battery on Saturday.
I'd just left Prestige B*W at Bexleyheath armed with bits to fix my intermitant fuel leak,....that has now stained my previously pristine gearbox casing
...I stopped at the Esso garage 500 yds up the road..went to restart the bike and ..Dead.
Scooted it back to Prestige, whipped of the seats, and there was the bugger...dangling.
Top marks to Prestige who had it all sorted and back on the road in 30 mins.
I would add that i am not a regular customer to them,....but I could be now.
Ps... Is this a common fault on 1150 GS..4 years old, or should I put it down to the day out on the tank grounds last week
