Possible fault code on display

Getting the following when initial checks are done " DWA and a battery symbol". Then it goes out. 05 1200 gs. Its not in the manual. Any idea please.

I believe DWA relates to the alarm system (if fitted) so assuming there is some kind of battery in the alarm unit itself, maybe it needs replacing.

EDIT: DWA apparently stands for "Diebstahl Warn Anlage"

7 years might be the life of the oem batteries.

Mine went last month (05 model)- piece o piss to replace - as in Bobbon Mans post - 30 mins max
