Possible problem with BOS can?

I have just installed a new BOS can on 07 GSA

Not sure if this is a problem but it seems to be back firing a little more than it was with the stock can. In fact on one occasion I blipped the throttle (you know to see how it sounded) and it back fired and cut the engine.

Any ideas?

They all do that Sir but check for air leaks on the headers.... Engine cutting out ?....Thats not normal Sir but under very rare circumstances, it could happen.

Thanks - did scout the forums last night (should have done before posting really, sorry folks). Any how, bought some Gun Gum today, however bike seems to have settled down a bit now, strange. Maybe the engine managment has kicked in a little to compensate for the new can?

Mr Mechanic told me it takes 1/2 hr to fully adjust to new settings. Maybe absolute b*llox but who am I to judge...

Sounds possible, would have been about 30 - 40 mins worth of riding time.
