(Possible)R1150gs side stand failure?

I did a quick search on this and nothing came up so apologies in advance if this is a repost. I found this on inspection of the GS's side stand in an attempt to rectify an ever increasing angle of lean. Surely an accident waiting to happen so may be of help to others. Im off to the welders

If it's not the side stand it's usually the plate the side stand attaches to that also splits.

I had a look but no visible crack. Going to take it off though for good measure. Thanks.
