Possible ride out - any interest?

If folk are interested, I'll take a run on a wee bimble around places of hysterical interest via some very nice back roads?

Hidden Roman forts and dark age magicians ...

Black Dwarves and classic adventure novels ...

Exiled Poles and the destruction of the Nazis in Normandy...

With stop/s for coffee and cake etc.

Pete, I would like that on either the Sat or Sunday?

Hi folks, as Alistair mentioned in the opening post, I've put together a run for the Saturday to the East of Moffat, 150 miles round trip, about 3hrs driving, with loads of scenery and ample coffee stops/ bladder stops
Heading off at 10am , from the Ram statue middle of Moffat. With stops probably later in afternoon return. If this appeals to anyone feel free to join in.
Cheers, look forward to meeting up on the Friday night in the Buccleugh bar (y)

I suspect some might like a lie in on the Saturday so I'll do a back roads bimble to complement your run, as in the post above. Starting at say ... 1430hrs?

A wee update: daughter #1 wants me to dog sit on Friday pm/evening. So I'll be down mid morning ish on Saturday to set up at the C&CC site and then at 14.30 hrs at the Ram for those who've sobered up and fancy a wee bimble.

Spend so much time lurking in the hexhead section I completely missed this! Myself and a friend will come down to the ram at Moffat for the 10am run if that's OK with everyone.

Just scratching my arse and coming to terms with the day. (Much like most mornings!) Bike is packed and ready to go so plans remain as above. 1430hrs at the Ram for anyone who fancies a gentle bimble around some border back roads.

Well Bazman, that was a cracking wee run. Good roads and a nice pace, thank you very much. Went a bit wrong when I peeled off to go the 72 with Mike and your brother!! Sorry bout that. Enjoy the rest of your weekend down in Moffat all those who are there.

Yes Baz, that was great, thanks for getting that organised, even the closed road section!

And great to catch up with Stuart again.

Enjoy your well-earned pints tonight!
