Post (1st) Service Experience (no not the Royal Mail!)

Just had me first service done at around 800miles.

Bike is now a more vibey and also sounds more throaty. It was an exceptionally smooth example so you notice the diference. I know the service 'tightens every thing up' or am I being paranoid. I got to accept that I have also turned up the 'loud pedal' a bit more as well.

I'd not noticed so much with boxers but Guzzis seemed to get smoother and quieter towards a service and came out sounding rattly and rough - Possibly due to reducing valve-clearances opened back out?

My diesel van is the same ...though the analogy is probably ill-advised......

First service done at 600 miles, a few weeks ago, now at 1200 miles and still nice n smooth (feels more lively also, but using all engine range now of cause!!)
Only difference i've noticed is small increase in oil consumption

Yeah Scoo, exactly my experiance after the first service (last week).

Not worried about it though......
