I tink they are "homemade"
They look very substantial, god knows what they would ever need to support though
I saw some similar, once, on a much travelled bike They had small boxes on um.
If your only putting a set of tank panniers on I would think it a bit OTT to support them
If the option was a pair or set of boxes they may be "handy"
I also think they have been on fleabay before so either the new buyer thought they were OTT or the seller didnt shift um last time
If I was fitting a toolbox or summat heavy on the crash bars I am sure a frame could be made that is lighter and less butch
IUTYN to make yer mind up
I think their main purpose is to stop soft tank bags from slipping over to one side and ending up resting on the barrels. Anything that brings the weight of luggage forward on an airhead gets my vote.
Fixing them to a paralever GS requires moving the oil cooler from crash bars to a central position.

Not really. Two options are open. First is to remove the oil cooler completely and second is to relocate it. I think Motorworks do a kit with longer oil pipes, brackets etc
