Probably knows how Piaggio treats its dealers
i used to be a Guzzi dealer (Corsa Italiana Ltd) . we were consistently in the top 3 .
25% of my work was warranty , they would send me jobs other dealers couldn't fix .
we were the top selling , genuine spare parts dealer .....in Europe . ( outside of Italy ,bearing in mind , we were 4 blokes , with almost £1m turnover )
i did some of their staff bikes , they never wanted to pay us .
we stopped running their press fleet , cos they didn't want to pay us
when the 8v fiasco was happening , they CAME and complained to us , because we were making punters wait for up to 6 months , cos parts not available ( not our fault ) . they were getting Mr Angry phone calls because i started giving out their number .
they would send out half the parts , followed by a bill for all the parts ...that hadn't been supplied and the job not done ....cos i only had half the parts
we would put all warranty work on hold , and tell them so....when they hit £10k owed.

the reps kept changing ,we found out , that no one had a company credit card , the reps had to use their own .....which they would pay with errors and ....LATE .

signage outside , YES says Piaggio , use these people , cost £5k . we will pay half when it is done . can you see what is coming ???
no , you can't , cos we used someone else who did it for £1500. when they next came round , they said ...didn't they do a lovely job , we let them harp on for 5 mins , then told them , what actually happened.
they had some good people working there , that i dealt with , but the head management were fuckwits.
So you not impressed then? Maybe the newer bikes will attract a newer clientele? Has to be good for us Guzzi owners who have had no local support for years.
I suspect the "Clientele" were NOT the problem ???
