Does anyone know of a reliable company, in Hampshire, to powder coat my H&B engine bars....

Whilst on the subject, am impressed with Motoworks, ordered engine bars Sunday night arrived this morning...

Hi, will do. Have found one in Andover so will be having a chat with them tomorrow and see what the cost etc will be. Was hopeing someone on here would have used someone and had a good report on them.

Will let you know what happens.

Mick et all - we (that's Keighley College m/cycle maintenace section) use a company here in West Yorks trading as Triple S (SSS) - can supply in a large selection of colours.

Can get a cost for you if you want but you'll need p&p as well.

Question - why are you powder coating new bars?

Thanks for that, have found a local engineering place who are going to do them for me, as to why am I powder coating, well I was told by a very experienced motorcyclist that it would give them better protection for when I drop the bike....and Judgeing by this blokes knowledge I believed him....has he been telling me porkies....LOL

Firstly I misqouted the person who mentioned having them powder coated, but will always accept advice from that person, but they will wear bettter than straight paint, I know its mostly cosmetic, but I did it cos I wanted to.........

The only interface my bars have had is getting the bike in and out of the garage and the bars have only to touch something and they mark. You can either constantly touch them up because of their soft paint or get a harder finish.

They will NOT give better protection in the event of a crash
