for tom tom urban rider, does a power cable from an earlier model fit and would it be possible to charge the unit on the bike as i have an extra socket fitted up on the dash on my adventure, dont think I really trust just 8 hours use model number is 4gc01, also will this unit connect with any bluetooth headset,i have found on the net a pair of bluetooth headsets for rider and pillon for £100 from ultimateaddons.co.uk navrider bluetooth headset, it says it has edr and a2dp profile whatever this means, any help would be great used to using an old car sat nav with a wire lead all this modern stuff

Power cable from version 2 fits the urban powered mount as they are the same.you must have powered mount.the cable does not plug directly into the Urban.
Bluetooth should pair OK

You can get a charging bike kit from network automotive on 01555 666 444

You cant use a cigarette socket charger like on a normal car charger, it has to be a 5v feed from the mount to the pins at the rear of the device.

The mounts convert a 12v feed from your bike to the 5v supply required by the tomtom.

Any headset that uses "0000" and the pairing key will work. Scala is the recommended kit.

got the charger seems to work okay, just waiting for the headsets to arrive
