Hello all

After reading the threads re the Power Commander V recently posted, it sparked an interest for one on my TC. However after looking on their web site, there is a fuel controller verdion available, which looks yo me just what I want (plug and play, no dyno time needed). I know there will always be a compromise on the perfect tune, however for £211 it seems an easy (lazy) win for me.
Having done a search, can't find much info on here relating to owner experience. Has anyone fitted one?

Not had the FC but just fitted a PCv to my bog standard TC. I got it off EBay from Germany for £222 if postage from these guys www.motorradtechnik-Engelmann.de . It took about 10 days to come although the tracking number never worked.

Fitting is very straightforward and took about 30mins. i didn't download a map as it comes pre loaded for a standard bike. The improvement in smoothness and pick up is significant and well worth the cost. However, having had a previous TC mapped by Hilltop is doesn't have the same snap your neck performance upgrade that a professional remap does....it would take some dyno time for that.

If I was forced to buy at UK prices I would opt for the Hilltop remap BUT if you just want Smooooooth bike with sharper fueling then I would say this is worth it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
