Hi I have posted this quotation previously (on the end of an old thread) so apologies for that, my engine transplant project is o. The road (1150gs in a citroen Acadian) generally its fine https://youtu.be/MEGdA0LkfDE.
But the overly long intake and long convaluted exhaust minus Cat are confusing the ecu (at least that my thoughts). I have some "Tills de" upgraded injectors so a "John's tuning chip" is an o(unless I swap injections back). So the van goes well enough but "stutters" in traffic and backfires insanely overrun. Scaring pedestrians . Somebody has suggested a powecommander and a visit to a rolling road. Has anyone on here got experience with a powecommander? I imagined that it was just like the old fashioned "chip change" that essentially it came with a new "map" and didn't allow for any adjustment? But this is assumption. I don't think any "off the shelf map" will help.. As long as I keep driving it flat out its fine . New HES. New oxygen sensor BTW.. My bike backfires too since I did de cat.. But not in the same league as the van.. Cheers

I have a Laser Duo-Tech 2-1 + silencer, Tills De 1200 injectors, K&N and a PCIII Wideband, mapped on a rolling road by Dynobike in Malton about 5-6 years ago.

The torque curve is more-or-less flat from about 2,000 - 5,500 rpm and the bike is a joy to ride. Highly recommended! :thumb

I had the first PC3 fitted in the UK, since Dynojet borrowed my 1150 to use as the tester for them when they started importing them.

Your assumption is wrong as these can be plugged into a laptop and the map can be adjusted throughout the revs to tailor it to your needs. I’d suggest speaking with someone who installs them. FWD in Garstang was who I dealt with, as they are local, also Dynojet UK and fettle several race team bikes, but there are plenty of others that may be more local to you.
