Forgive a question from a techno-numpty (any others out there no good at the oily bits?) but a form I'm filling out here to register my R1150gs asks me the 'maximum power engine speed'. It also asks the 'maximum road speed' which I know and which is in the manual, but the 'power engine speed'? Anyone shed light on my ignorance? Ta.

I would suggest 85bhp@6250 or thereabouts. Does say somewhere in the manual under specs. L.

Which form requires this sort of information?

Just curious......

...it's the VOSA form to say my imported bike from Dubai conforms to EU standards. BMW will not issue a letter to say the same, so you have to spend £70 at a vehicle testing centre getting it checked over. BMW's argument is that because the bike was prepared for another market (speedo is in kms etc) they can't issue the letter.

Need to get a UK plate unfortunately...
