power plug ??

Dudes!
Is the power plug on the engine a standard thing I can get from Halfords or Maplin ? or is it BMW only
I'm looking to make a cable that has a standard car type plug converter thing to charge my mobile when away on trips,
if its a standard plug I am happy to get one & make up my own cable onto a socket standard plug socket type thing ...
ideas or info would be apreciated
