Very cool. If I'd not rigged up underseat power myself last year (that allows me to charge stuff in the tail pack), I'd be all over these. Well done for making such a neat solution that doesn't cost the earth.

A custom variant
I wanted to wire my tank bag to a Fuzeblock, rather than connecting it to the accessory socket. Popeye kindly offered to put together some custom wiring. We had quite a design discussion, because I wanted to ensure that the tail that is permanently wired to the Fuseblock isn't exposed to water when the tank bag is not attached. Also, I didn't want a great long curly-wurly lead hanging from the tank bag when I'm carrying it round.
We eventually came up with the following design. The hard-wired cable is terminated near the headstock, with a male connector, which is protected by a cap that Popeye created from a female connector sealed with some silicone sealant. The cabling into the front of the bag is the standard (male-terminated) wiring. The two male connectors are joined by a short curly-wurly cable with female connectors on each end.
When I'm not using the bag, the headstock connector is nice and tidy with no dangling cables, and the cap keeps it watertight. When I want to refuel, I can just tip the bag forwards to expose the filler cap, no need to detach the wiring. When I leave the bike, I can detach the connectors at the headstock, and if I get fed up with the short length of curly-wurly I can remove it and stick it in the bag.
A big thanks to Popeye for working with me to come up with this design, and for taking the time to put it all together for me
Enough talking - here's some pictures.
Here are the basic custom components. Actually, the middle wire is part of the standard kit, except that the male connector is covered with a watertight cap as described. The left-hand cable is a short female-to-female curly-wurly. On the right is a 6A cable terminated with a male connector, again protected by a cap.
The next photo shows the bag attachments - in this photo I have removed the cap from the male connector.
The final shot is of the bag in-place, attached to the hard-wire connector via the curly-wurly.

I'm getting asked more and more for custom wiring options.
This from a guy (not off here I hasten to add) who wanted to cover all the bases ...
I make up a lot of these for people who don't have a socket for the plug...
and loads of these for a simple live feed off the battery or fuse panel .....
which connects to the PowerPort via one of these ....
So far we've done tankbags, panniers and top boxes in the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand

I purchased a kit from you last year.........fantastic idea/product and has worked really well for me ever since.
However, I have wondered if you have ever thought of doing a plastic 'protector cap' to cover the plug which is left protruding from the tankbag when the lead from the power outlet on the bike is unplugged?
Just to protect it from water and cr*p.
Perhaps it doesn't need it but just a thought.
