Sorry if this has come up before. I would like to fit some LED spotlights which come on with the ignition and go off when the ignition is switched off.
Previosly I used the parking light connection which worked perfectly. My 2014 GS TE has LED lights and therefore does not have the same bulb fitting to tap into.
Does anybody know what would be a suitable wire to tap into. The rear light perhaps?
Thanks for the help.

Power the relay from the battery.
Switch the relay from the back of the accessory socket through a toggle switch.
The nice thing is that the spots will stay on for a minute once you turn off the ignition. very handy and cool.

Thanks for that. I don't want to add any switches I just want the lights to go on and off with the ignition.

Put a switch in.......I've no doubt many will say "Oh I had no problem when I had my last 45 MOTs", but it's a requirement that they should be independently switched :)

If you take a connection from the back of the accessory plug to power a relay without switch, the lights will always be on if you use a BM charger through the accessory plug.

The other benefit of using a relay linked to the accessory plug is that the lights will be turned off while you use the starter. Since the battery on the LC is smaller than the former 1200s it is a good move, but not so important with LEDs as they take current.
