Hi

I have a Nav 5 I use on my GSA in conjunction with the bikes cradle and wheel. All good.

I have a cradle which came with the Nav 5 with 4 buttons on it. This has a cable which splits in to two looms with a connector on the end of each.

The question is...I also want to use the cradle and Nav on another non-BMW bike and would like to know either which connector to cut off and which wires do I connect + and - supply to, or is there a connector with two unterminated wires I can buy to make the job neater?

Cheers
Harry

Don't cut either of them off. Why? Because it's not necessary and will reduce its value when you come to sell it on.

From memory, the white socket, not the black capped one, is the power one. If not, it's the other way around. The other one carries sound etc. but you'll probably not use it. Just tape it out of the way, neatly.

Yes, you can buy suitable leads to pick up the power, Nippy Norman sells them. Simply reverse it. To fit to a non-BMW bike. Other means available, too.
