Just fitted a Powerbronze standard touring screen to my R1250RT, it looked very similar when I got it out the box, and wondered if I'd made a mistake, but after fitting it is bigger pretty much all round, but not by a lot. It does a better job of taking the wind off you, so for the price is a reasonable upgrade, I'd still like it to have been half an inch wider, but I'm a big bloke, others may find it perfect.

Stuck a thousand miles on it now and it's a big improvement on the original. There is a slight sucking forward feel as I can feel myself heavier on the handlebars when going at motorway speeds, so not sure whether to risk drilling a few holes in it to relieve some of the back pressure - anyone tried this with any other screen?

On the whole it's been a good buy, it's solid and gives a lot more protection than the original screen, I have no idea what it's like in the wet yet, and with a bit of luck I never will :DD

I know this is a fairly old strength but I've just recently bought a 23 plate RT which has a standard height screen on it, which is fairly noisy at motorway speed. What height is this Powerbronze screen that you fitted and would you buy it again?
