I'm trying to attain the best power requirements before i spend some cash. I've currently got:
A digicam (12v battery) with charger that works down to 110v
A laptop (19v) with power supply works down to 100v
A mobile phone (7.8v) with charger working down to 110v
I believe the best scenario would be to take the 12v from bike, run it through an invertor to 110/240v then use the original array of chargers etc to drop it back down. Obviously this isn't the most efficient - I'll loose quite a bit from the converting processes.
Anyone know of places around hertsfordshire that sell tractor 12v plugs?
I have a USB GPS unit for my laptop and was intending to use this with autoroute on my travels rather than go with a tomtom etc. Granted I can't look at it while riding, but the laptop offers so many more possibilities. Any thoughts?
