I have a tank bag fitted to my r1150GSA with power supplied to it via 12v accessory socket. The problem is when I power, the MP3 player through this set up, I get engine noise feedback coming through the headphones. Do I need to fit some kind of suppressor to alleviate the problem and if so any suggestions would be welcome.

Where are you taking the power from to supply the accessory socket.

Not Sure it is just the socket fitted on the top near the tank standard fitting i think!

Its the alternator that is causing it. I have the same problem but havent really looked for a cure. I am sure that a filter or choke of sorts would work but dunno nuffing bout dems fings :o .

I also have an accessory socket but have got a cigarette lighter charger for my mp3 player so I plan to use that to charge it. I just listen to my mp3 player 'unplugged' so to speak and keep it in my jacket pocket..
