Hi,

yes, I have the fitted at the moment, done 4kmiles on them in the last couple of months...I fitted them at end of November as figured extra grip may be useful in the winter. Before that I was on "80/20's".

initially I was really impressed with them. But have found my confidence to be waining a little as the roads have got in worse state I think I had more confidence on my Anakee's and TKC70's. May be a pressures thing as I haven't played round with them too much, but I've definitely had more front end slides with these than previous tyres. To be fair though, I may be pushing on quicker with them on (without realising) hence the drama's, plus the roads covered in crap, so its not exactly comparing apples with apples and all that.

I know there are loads of people who rave about them on here, so I am sure they are great and you'll find many fans. I'll be swapping them back out at my next service in March as not my up of tea though.

I found them to have far superior wet road grip than other tyres, but slightly less stable at speed and under heavy throttle on tight slow it bends it feels like its stepping out on the rear, but i think its the tread walls deforming. a great tyre! Probably get pr4's for the GSA next winter.

They are brilliant, good grip even yesterday at 2.5 degrees on the North York moors on messy roads, they improve the ride comfort too.

Wear is good and they don't square off as quick as the Anakees...You'll love 'em!

Great grip in all weathers but don't last long I gor 5k out of my rear and now going to change to the pr4gt

I am on my 3rd set and just fitted to my 2016 GSA after previous 2 sets on a GS LC. All have been Trail front and GT rear.
I get just over 5K and love the grip they give both dry and wet. I tend to run 34/40 pressures rather than the ones in the handbook which tended to square off the rear quicker.

The GT rear is nice and i've been getting 10,000 miles out of it (twice)...the regular front has the same 10,000 and looks about 50%.

Another fan here. Found they give great confidence in the wet and all the grip I'll ever in the dry. Had the 3's on my Speed Triple and that was just as happy on them.
About 5K from a rear.
(Strangely I was out in Yorkshire yesterday too !!) :D

Still got the original Anakees on my GSA but had PR4's on my Blackbird and I thought they were amazing. Great wet and dry grip, stable, good even wear. Would definitely recommend them to anybody who wants a very good road tyre. IMHO they wouldn't handle much more than a dusty track once you're off the tarmac.

I found they under steered slightly compared to the OE Conti Trail Attacks and the carcass is quite stiff too. The rear lasted 4000 miles including being gently nursed the last 500 miles back from the Alps.

I've now fitted the GT version and I think that'll last about 5500-6000 as it has a deeper tread and harder rubber in the centre

agree excellent in all weathers.. confidence inspiring in the wet,, I will go GT next time on the rear too,,

Just had the PR4 Trail fitted on the front and PR4 GT fitted to the rear of my GSA LC, big improvement (of course) over the TKC80's that it came with. I've only done a few hundred miles on them so far but very pleased.

Probably will fit the pr4s soon on my lc. Other consideration would be Roadsmart 2s. Not seen much feedback about the Dunlops on the GS, though I did like the Sportsmart2s on my Multistrada.

Agree about slight understeer, but you soon adapt. I had them on an R1200R and now on GS and on both found they take a while to bed in, maybe 500ml. On my GS I get a slight noise from front tyre - anyone else noticed this?

Yep, compared to the Trail Attacks I had before the PR4 is a very noisy tyre - but that's worth putting up with the for the superior wet grip.

Be interesting to see if other Manufacturers start to supply road tyres with the 19" GS LC front size when
you look at the number of bikes they have sold.

I am about to put on my third set of PR4 GT .
Be careful with tyre pressures, the rear does not like it if you run it less than 42psi (recommended). I had the rear step out a few times when I was running it at 36psi. I now run 36/42 regardless of loading and have had no problems.

No stock of the pr4 trail tyres is that why some are fitting the GT version or fitting them for another reason ???
How much are you paying fitted I was Quoted £224 for a pair of trails fitted on the bike ( with £25.00 mitchelin discount) good deal or not

Now offering a good deal on the METZELER tyres anybody fitted these :rob
