Practice Track

hi guys

anyone know a good practice track in the West Yorkshire area? About time I got some use out of my KTM........

Would be great if a few of use made a day of it?

There's a track off the A1 southbound, just after it leaves the A1M, before the Selby turnoff. I've passed it a number of times but never seen it in use. Don't even know what it's called but it looks good, graded, berms, table tops everything. Wouldn't mind a go myself it would be a great way to improve the trail skills.

I've seen that whenever I go that way - which I will probably be doing next week at some point. I might just look a bit closer for some signage.

It's privately owned to my knowledge. Armthorpe near Doncaster is your nearest methinks

I did some googling and on a couple of forums there's reference to a free track at Micklethorpe set up by a farmer after there were problems locally with kids offroading where they shouldn't. This is the track by the green M&S trailer that you can see from the M1 before you get to Ferrybridge. No other real details that I could see.

The Armthorpe track looks interesting, must look at paying that a visit.

ETA I'm on for a group visit to one of the tracks.
