Last week, I decided that I fancied a change. My 2000 1150 has been a great bike, but I felt the need to change.
I dropped into Vines for a browse. A coffee was thrust into my hand as I explained my dilema. Should I go for the 1200 or maybe the GSA.
Within a few minutes, I found myself riding up the road on the 1200, when I got back, a GSA was ready to try.
My personal preference (by a long way) was the GSA.
A bit of wheeling and dealing resulted in a great price for my 1150, and £500 off the asking price of the used GSA. Vines also included a 6000 service and 2 new tyres.
I was a happy chappy.
A week later, one of the pannier lid hinges broke (I was warned), Vines supplied a new one FOC.
I am not keen on showrooms and salespersons, but I would like to thank Vines for a pleasant, no pressure and mature service. Credit where it is due.
