Pre Christmas (Biff's comeback) Bunkhouse Bash

B1ffs Revenge?

I'm up for this if its still on.

Top bunk please :thumb2

All booked Paul. We have the 6 berth bunkhouse for Saturday night only.
Top bunk is all yours, not that you will spend much time on it if you are above Allan. The vibes will keep you hovering about 1" off the mattress!!:augie

Does this plan involve ear plugs?
OR.... a bin bag and a strong tie wrap!:hide

I also have a cunning plan Baldrick! just got to think of a way of doing it without spilling my beer and looking sober (ish) come falling in the tent time :D

Shall I do a meet up/rideout thingy! or what. Don't want to get there too early :beer:. I will be avail from 10 am or earlier if needs be :thumb

Ride out sounds good Allan, Try and keep it to the black stuff for me though.
If others want to do a bit of brown squidgy stuff I can always meet up with you later.
It's a well known fact, Tigers dont like to get too dirty:thumb
By the way, if anyone fancies a ride out, I am available most weekdays, less so on weekends.
B1ff:beerjug:

Saturday ride-out would be a good call.

Where we going then.

P.S. Phil

T.E. Laurence was born in Tremagod just up the road from Porthmadog. Found his house on Google map.

How about :augie:augie:augie:augie Meeting up at Touratech, kick a few tyres, take the pish and get a free cuppa of Graham, with a biccie I hope :D
say about 1100 Leave at 1130 (Leave Karduff at 1030am, Upper Boat, tesco )
from there to see the view of the Carreg Castle, Llandeillo, Talley, Tregaron, Elan Valley, Rhayadar, Llanidloes, Newtown and yes you guessed it, the A483:bounce1:upyou to Crossgates, onto Builth then onto Talgarth via the scenic route, the match starts at 1815.:beer::fnikefork:fnikefork
So I make that about 150 miles and about 3 and half, oop:blast I meant 5 and half hours allowing for kodak moments and short sticky bun stops. There is always a quick way back if needs be :thumb2
PW is that you Tailending again :thumb2

All B-roads and the A483---26 miles and 365 lovely little (slight) bends and no loose gravely type tracks Phil :thumb

We could also post all the wifeys Christmas cards in Bethlehem, if they are doing it this early, I think they normally start in Dec, but it may be worth a look see :nenau

Glad to hear it Allan, the stripey one is now pristine once more after PW and I did some brown laning( ooer, missus, that sounds rude ).
Big thumbs up to all of the above except the kodak moments, can't waste good riding time:augie
Can't wait :beerjug:

Sounds good to me.

Tailend is fine by me as I won't be the first to the bar:beerjug:

Let me know when you have the route sorted and I'll upload it.

sounds good but....

:augie:augie
Well Guys, I've been in touch with mein host at the Castle Hotel in Talgarth and have provisionally booked ten berths in the bunkhouse for Saturday 27th November
Please, let's have names of all who would like to attend so I can confirm the booking ASAP.
I can personally vouch for last years do. It was a real blast! The ghost of Talgarth Castle appeared at the breakfast table:augie causing much amusement to some?
Should any couples wish to attend, I do believe Ahmed has some private rooms available too.
The beer and steaks in this hostel are to die for:drool and the atmosphere last year was brilliant.
Lets round up 2010 with a great night out (P*** up).

This event sounds bloody good and im interested in attending, and when i get my roster next week ill know if i can do it or not, BUT I will be travelling all the way from Costa del Surrey, so really I'm just asking at the moment[.
I'm also a non brown routes person having never taken my 12 off road apart from slightly misjudging a car drivers reactions once, and also being shod with Metz tourance exp's (road tyres, lol). If ok then I would be grateful for a message to my mail box or you can take the piss out of the newbie on the thread all you like, ha:hide:pullface:mcgun

You will be in good company, not many mudpluggers amongst us. In fact, sometimes, some are known to opt for 4 wheels??!!!! and stay warm and dry.....Bless their cotton gussets.
Just a shame that Wales:bow are playing the All Blacks and not England at rugby that weekend. That would have led to some interesting conversations for sure.:blagblah
Look forward to meeting you, and if you like, I can meet with you at J45 of the M4 to lead you to the Touratech meeting point.

Well there's lovely isnt it, look you..... What sort of time will you be waiting at J45 then???? Look for a white GS with hopefully an adventure screen on it, a sleeping bag tied to one of the panniers and a tosser wearing a blue n black jacket..... Also by way of a backup plan have included my mobile number via private message, so if all goes well you'll read this first and not wonder who the hell is randomly sending you mobile phone numbers!!!!.....Regards from Mark....

P.S. Can I have a bunk/bed by the door, in case I need to exit stage left quickly!!!!

Glad your in Mark, what time do you intend crossing the Severn Bridge into Gods country.

You may have to step over or drag Phil outa the way first mind, or even keep an eye out for him as he hurtles past on the way to mens room :comfort It may be a good idea to give PW your phone number aswell (he is in charge of us Welsh lot, by all accounts :augie) as we will be leaving from Cardiff at 1015ish (mapsource grid ref N51 34.805 W3 17.667 Tesco Petrol station just of the A470) just incase you get caught in the Rugby Traffic at the Severn Crossing :thumb2

Mark pm me your No so we can arrange to meet you near Cardiff M4 J32.

I´ve sent you a pm.

Only in the planning stage at the minute, but is there likely to be room for a small one? it would only be for a small glass of sherry on the saturday nite:D
