Hi
Just like to share a few photos with members of the the new range of Panniers we are bringing out for next season.
A new colour choice in the product range is anodised aluminium. This process means that the panniers maintain their "natural" look, you don't get black marks all over your clothes, nor do the panniers oxidise over time.
As you can see from one of the photos the insides of all the panniers &
top-boxes are completely "flush" so there are no dials or catches to snag or damage your luggage.
Comments to date seem quite favourable.
An exact costing has yet to be made but it is anticipated they will be no more than £25.00 above current prices quoted on our website for 2010.
Please feel free to offer your opinions.
Regards
Bernie

They look nice and tidy... I'm guessing that you can still powder coat them the colour of your choice, to match the bike if required?

Yes we still powder-coat our panniers to customers requirements and
gun-metal grey with black lids is the most popular.

in inches ?

The larger Stahlkoffer panniers are 10.5" wide & the smaller Citykoffer panniers are 9" wide.
To give you some idea the Citykoffer are slightly narrower than the width of the handle-bars.
The Stahlkoffer stick out about 2.5" proud of the handle-bars (so you need to care care when filtering in traffic).

Looking good, I look forward having a look at the NEC show! My panniers are doing well :)

Hi Servdave
Glad to hear your panniers are still doing well. looking forward to seeing you at the Bike Show. I think you will be impressed by the design of our new (ALL MADE IN ENGLAND) aluminium panniers & top-boxes we will have on display at the show.

What are the mountings/rails like? So many manufacturers ignore this detail and you end up with big ugly rails left on the bike when the panniers are off and its a 30 min job to remove or put them on.

The frames do not lok too bad on the bike but it depends what bike you have. All frames are different & we make frames for the BMW GS range as well as Suzuki V-Strom, Yamaha Tenere, KTM & Africa Twin. BUT whatever bike you have, removing the frames only takes at the most ten minutes.
Hope that helps but if not just give me a call to discuss.

After a bit of searching I have managed to find one picture of the Stahlkoffer frames on a F800GS (Apologies to Coronation Street)Santrix 1.jpg.
I have some more pictures of a KTM frames & when & when I locate them I will post them on the site.
At the end of the day they are brackets, but as I said in my previous thread I don't think they look too bad.
