Please tell me you're kidding..... ;) Bugger me, they've gone again.

Anyway, our ride out on Saturday took us on a visit to see Bananashark Racing who run an off-shore powerbaot racing team. During an hour or so guided tour of the boat & kit, I was amazed to find they run a 2.5litre or 3litre V6 2stroke engine. A fantastic time & really interesting to talk with.

Cheers for taking us round there, Jez. The lengths we go to, to get stickers for the panniers......:D

A few piccies......

You's lot waltz off t'de co'na' of de country on yo' flash wheels and nobody gives some toss about how poo' Donkey be goin' t'get dere.

If ya' wuzn’t all so's far down yo' own arses, ya' could gots plum sent me some little message t'say dat dere be a spare space on yo' chariot and ah' would gots been dere. Why, ah' could even gots gone t'dat Tosserman’s bustfast and made some waffles!

Dat Matron honky chick could gots picked me down in ha' car and snatchn me t'de party and ah' could gots seen all mah' cousins on de moo's.

But, damn it, ya' lot gots had yo' last chance. If ah' get missed out on any acshun in de future, dere’s goin' t'be big trouble cuz' Mrs Donkey be goin' t'come and dig ya' all!

Right on! Right on!

NO RAFFLE PRIZE FOR MATRON !

Matron -- I'm both appalled and somewhat abashed to learn that you failed to win a raffle prize - this because after many years of being a similar , sad , prizeless , ticket-clutcher , I won - TWICE !

And one of the prizes I opted for was a pot of , "Matron's Rampant Raspberry Jam" AND it is absolutely spot on and delicious to boot !!!

If Mr Matron ever fails to appreciate his excellent fortune in being wed to the creator of such cullinary excellence - tell him from me and all the Bryan brood that , "Johnny Boxer may think that he won the star prize but those of us in possession of a pot of Rampant Raspberry know different !"

Thanks for making a B.O.F.'s breakfast go with a zing !!!

All the best ,
James

Thanks everyone for another excellent GS event and for making a CS rider so welcome. By the way, why is it most bikes were covered in mud come Sunday morning but Colin's GS was pristine? Did he get up in the middle of the night with a bucket of soapy water? Surely not! See ya's next year....ride safe.

1st prize - a pot of Matron's jam.
2nd prize - 2 pots of Matron's jam.

That should keep attendance down to manageable numbers :D

"Yorkshire man" -- NOT !

Matron -- You seem to have confused my missionary position with my lineage !

I'm here attempting to educate , civilise , save , the benighted English and have had only limited success .

In the mean time all our children (modesty prevents me from enumerating) , are Yorkshire born & bred - something which fills me with mixed feelings .
Still if they couldn't be born in Wales (Marilyn objected to my plans for pitching a tent in Dowlais when she was 10 centimeters dilated - still can't see why) , Yorkshire is the next best thing !

As to Mike's attempt at humour , I take it that the poor unfortuneate is known to you - or are we able to look forward to his fast approaching comeuppance ?

All the best ,
James

ps. - All jam now consumed , I'm already saving for a book of BOO BOO's best

Actually, he's missing his sausages & bacon - which he bought on the way to Princetown & left in my pannier when he sloped off home early with a cold................

They tasted lovely for breakfast this morning.
